Overseeing renovations
at Turtle Bay Hilton

George T. Pray will oversee renovations at the Turtle Bay Hilton Hotel for David E. Kerr Inc., a development and construction management firm.

"Our main focus is to repair the reinforcing steel corrosion and concrete spalling (damage from expanding steel)," Pray said. "We will be assembling a team of local engineers and consultants to solve the ongoing problem."

The resort also will get exterior and interior renovations.

He most recently was vice president and general manager of P.C. French Ltd. and its sister company, Con-Fab Corp. of Hawaii. Pray also worked for George A. Fuller Co. in New York and C.L. Peck Contractor in California.

His jobs in Southern California included Security Pacific Bank's national headquarters, the Westin South Coast Plaza Hotel and the United California Bank.
