Wilbur B. Barnes Jr., 74, of Honolulu, an electronic technician, died last Saturday in Queen's Hospital. Mabel Y.L. Chang, 78, of Honolulu died last Saturday in Tripler Hospital. Born in Honolulu, she is survived by son Harvey D., daughter Lorna M. Elizabeth L. Chesser, 73, of Laurel, Miss., formerly of Hawaii, a retired registered nurse, died June 3 at home. Frank Hyong Chon, 50, of Fairbanks, Alaska, a maintenanceman for government housing, died Sept. 4 in Fairbanks. Fitisemanu III Fitisemanu, 51, of Kaneohe, a state adult corrections officer, died Wednesday in Straub Hospital. Warren K.K. Lowe, 51, of Laie, a bishop for the BYU-Hawaii Campus Sixth Ward, died Wednesday in Kuakini Hospital. He was also an accountant for Ke Ola Mamo. Richard W. Ripple, 85, of Honolulu, a retired colonel in the U.S. Army, died Wednesday in Honolulu. Born in Denver, he is survived by wife Louise; son Richard W.
