Sophie C. Agena, 81, of Honolulu died Dec. 10 in Kuakini Hospital. She was born in Lahaina. She is survived by husband Paul R.; son Roy T.; daughter Judy Riley; brothers Shinichi, Bill, Ray and Harold Kaneshiro, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Private services.

Oriku T. Akazawa, 102, of Pakala, Kauai, died Friday in Wilcox Hospital. She was born in Japan. She is survived by children Fusako Morita, Misao Mori, Sumako Lee, Chiaki and Eugene Akazawa, Yukiko Kubota and Itsuko Murabayashi, 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. David M. Arakaki, 78, of Halaula, Kohala, Hawaii, a retired foreman for the former Kohala Sugar Co., died Friday in Hilo Hospital. He was born in Niulii, Kohala, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Ethel O.; sons Lawson, Alvin, Derrick and Neil; daughter Terry J. Jeanette A. Hayashi, 80, of Pearl City, a retired seamstress, died Dec. 19 in Kapiolani Hospital at Pali Momi. She was born in Ewa. She is survived by husband Hiromu; sons Howard T. and Jeffery A.; daughters Sally H. and Susan Y.; brother Nobuso Ota; sisters Gertrude M. and Margaret H. Yamasaki, and two granddaughters. Valentine A. Jones Jr., 56, of California, a retired computer technician from Webber Aircraft, died Dec. 17 in California. He was born in Kaneohe. He is survived by companion Carol Jean; daughters Doreen Tateishi and Marie Spotkaeff; parents Valentine and Julia; brothers Benjamin and Conrad; sisters Elizabeth Waialae, Marie Ishiki and Loretta McKeague, and three grandchildren. Alma L. Savoie, 77, of Kalaoa, Kona, Hawaii, owner of Alma’s Restaurant in Houma, La., died Dec. 4 in Kona Community Hospital. She was born in Laose, La. She is survived by daughter Gail Patel and two stepgrandchildren.

Margaret A. Schrader, 73, died Dec. 6 in Bellevue, Wash. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by children Wayne Schrader, Jan Moon, Judy Carr and Mary Burgess; brothers Warren and Jack Ackerman, and nine grandchildren. Private services.

Margaret M.B.H. Sica, 94, of Waimanalo died Saturday in Castle Hospital. She was born in Ewa.
