Seto, 77, died Tuesday in Queens Hospital.
In 1950, Seto became the Hawaii distributor for Plexiglas which led to expansion of the business.
According to his family, he built the company by serving customers of small, custom orders. Thats still a focus of the company, which has been at its Dillingham location for more than 10 years.
A pilot and former aircraft mechanic, Seto was also active in many community organizations including the Ket On Society, See Yup Society, Yee Yee Tong Society, Chee Kung Tong Free Masons of Hawaii, Hawaii Chinese Building Industry Association, U.S. Small Business Administrations District Advisory Council, Rotary Club of West Honolulu, Chinatown Merchants Association, Chinese Catholic Club, American Legion-Kau Tom Post Unit 11, Chinese Bowling Club, Scottish Rite of Freemasonry and McCully Senior Citizens Club.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Mililani Downtown Mortuary. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Burial will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl.

Avery served as associate pastor and pastor in a number of parishes on Oahu and the Big Island, including Sacred Heart in Honolulu, St. Joseph and Sacred Heart churches in Hilo, Our Lady of Grace in Kohala, Immaculate Heart of Mary in Papaikou and St. Anthony of Padua in Kailua.

Avery spent much of his mission working with Filipino and Portuguese sugar plantation workers.
In honor of his work, a hall was constructed in 1983 at the Pahoa Sacred Heart Church on the Big Island.
Avery is survived by his sisters Betty Anne O Connor of Weymouth, Mass., and Charlotte Gleason of North Reading, Mass; and his brothers Robert of Sylvania, Ohio, and George of Carver, Pa.
