Maria Gutierrez Clark, 96, of Agana Heights, Guam, a retired schoolteacher and principal on Guam, died Sunday in Island Nursing Center. She also was a U.S. Postal Service clerk. She was born in Guam. Richard P. Crew, 56, of Honolulu, a resident manager, died Monday in Kuakini Hospital. He was born in Halifax, Roanoke Rapids, N.C. He is survived by sons Victor P. and Stacy W.; father Jerry T.; mother Elizabeth Warrington; brother Joseph N.; sister Sandra Morse, and a grandson. Private services.

Benjamin S. “Ben” Furukawa, 69, of Honolulu, a retiree of Pan American Airways, died July 30 in Queen’s Hospital. He was born in Honolulu. Frank T. Katsura, 77, of Honolulu, former owner of Frank’s Termite Service, died July 22. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Harue O.; son Raymond T.; brother Wilfred T., and sister Doris S. Yokota. Services were held.

Juan “Johnny” Lagoc, 69, of Yuma, Ariz., who was born in Makaweli, Kauai, died May 12. He is survived by friend Juan Lamar and many cousins, aunts and uncles. Services on the mainland.

George Y.K. Lau, 85, of Honolulu died July 29 at home. He was born in China.
