Leandro B. Batad, 88, of Keaau, Hawaii, a retired groundskeeper for Mauna Kea Beach Hotel, died Saturday in Hilo Hospital. Abelina M. “Abbie” DeCoite, 67, of Pukalani, Maui died Tuesday in Maui Memorial Hospital. Born in Lahaina, she is survived by husband Herman H.; sons Herman-Louis, Wesley, Everett and Dudley; daughters Geraldine Ferge and Bernadine DeCoite; brothers Robert Amaral and Buster Kahakua; sisters Ella Florence and Patsy Navarro; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Jose D. Dionglay, 70, of Wahiawa died April 28 in Wahiawa General Hospital. Anna Mae Huber, 80, of Kihei, Maui died Monday in Maui Memorial Hospital. Born in Allison Park, Pa., she is survived by husband Paul S.; children Sally Iwankiw, Jeanne Rodriguz and Tom Huber; sister Jayne Kroeck; brother Robert Wyland; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. David L.K. “Yuki” “Kawika” Kaiwi Jr., 63, of Kaneohe died Monday in Kaneohe. Born in Lahaina, he is survived by companion Sharon C. Pisciotto; children Debra K. and Curtis K.; mother Lydia K. Edward K. Kalama, 62, of Waimea, a retired tour driver and escort for Slim Holt, died Tuesday at home. He was also former president of Waimea Civitan Club. Queenie A.K. Kamakele, 77, of Waianae died Monday in Kaiser Hospital. Cesario R. Suan, 86, formerly of Lihue, a retired welder, died April 16 in California.
