Richard M. “Dickie” Matsuura, 64, of Mountain View, Hawaii, former Hawaii state senator, will be remembered in services Thursday and Saturday.

He died Friday at home.

Born in Waialua, he is survived by wife Dr. Ruth H.; sons Dr. Peter, Stephen, David and Andrew; daughters Marlene Kai and Caroline “Kui” Wong; brothers Larry and Harold; sisters Tsurue Masaki, Ruth Tomita, Sue Burrell, Margie Yokoyama and Alice Furuya; and 14 grandchildren.

Peter T. Coleman, 77, of Honolulu, former governor of American Samoa, will be remembered in services Friday and Saturday.

Coleman died April 28 at home.
