Platt was one of the planners who put together the land leases for the Financial Plaza of the Pacific, Newtown, Crestview and Harbor View Subdivisions. Platt also negotiated long-term commercial, residential and sugar leases for the J.L.P. Robinson and A.F. Knudsen Trust properties and was an instrumental in renegotiating the leases for the Royal Hawaiian, Halekulani and Sheraton Kauai Hotel properties, as well as the Kiahuna Development on Kauai.
