Leatuaolevao Otto Molia Ah Ching, 70, of Honolulu, a paramount high chief of Salailua Village in Savai'i, Western Samoa, died Aug. 8 in Western Samoa. He is survived by wife Lucy M.; sons Otto Jr. and Verner; daughters Millie Solomon, Siota York and Sara Steffany; brother Pani Hunt; sisters Faisala Elsie Rasch and Dorothy Haleck; 13 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Roy B.P. Fernandez, 47, of Utah, native of Honolulu, a U.S. Army Depot employee, died Saturday in Salt Lake City. He is survived by mother Dawn O.A.; sisters Dawn-Erleen M. Michael Hirahara, 51, of Honolulu, a state mechanic, died Wednesday in Queen's Hospital. Kate K. Imose, 70, of Aiea, a retired cafeteria baker, died Wednesday in Hale Pulama Mau. John D.C. Jose, 82, of Waipahu, a retired AFL-CIO Local 368 agent who also owned and operated JJ Painting Contractor, died Monday in the Aloha Health Care Center. Colin M. Nishimoto, 51, of Honolulu, a service manager for Lexus of Hawaii, will be remembered in memorial services Monday.
