Pedro Anses, a retired Hilo Hospital kitchen helper, died Saturday in Hilo Hospital. Anses, a World War II veteran, is survived by wife Gwendolyn; son Darren Palisbo; daughter Donna Nobriga; mother Frances Ramos; sister Irene Naccar; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Ernesto B. Gray, 60, of Wailua, Kauai, a Blackfield Co. maintenance groundskeeper, died Saturday in Wilcox Hospital. He is survived by wife Loreta; daughters Linda Julian, Naty Belarde, Maxie Manuel, Tessie Mancia, May-Ann Gilmane and Amy Gray; sons Nick, Dante, Efren and Ernesto Jr.; mother Antera; brothers Jose and Marcial; and eight grandchildren. Annie P.M. Hoomanawanui, 67, of Kailua died June 26 in Castle Hospital. She is survived by sons Hilario "John" and William Hoomanawanui, and Stacy Horner; daughters Jo Ann "Joey" Ah Wah, Bridget Meyer, Doreen Young, Valerie Cui, Debra Lee, Velma Mae and Judith M. Lilly L. Kaikuaana, 54, of Anahola, Kauai, a construction laborer, died Sunday in Queen's Hospital. She is survived by husband Patrick R.; daughters Peggy Ann Jervis and Loel L. Michael R. Kukona, 50, of Hilo will be remembered in services Friday. Kukona died Saturday in Queen's Hospital from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on Hawaii Belt Road on Thursday. He is survived by wife Merle K.; sons Kevin K., Iren K., Tyler U. and Beau I.T.; daughter Shallyn P.; brother Norman; sister Marietta M. Rea; and a grandchild. Yukito Kumagai, 70, of Honolulu, a retired general contractor, died Thursday at home. Kumagai, a U.S. Army veteran who served during World War II, is survived by sons Stephen Y., David M. and Timothy T.; daughters Sheila A. Goo and Naomi M. Arthur G. Lee, 75, of Kailua, owner of Aloha Bail Bonds, died Thursday in Kailua. He is survived by wife Louise; son Arthur Jr.; stepsons William, William M. Cyrus C. "Cy" Ludington, 80, of Honolulu, a retired MTL Inc. supervisor, died June 28 at home. He is survived by wife Julie I.; son Cyrus C. Jr.; daughter Lorna N. Guillermo B. Nullar, 89, a retired coffee and macadamia nut farmer, died Monday in Kona Community Hospital. He is survived by sons Joseph W. Nullar and Val Arlantico; daughter Gloria Katayama; stepsons Wayne Arlantico and Shannon Sales; stepdaughter Dale Rodrigues; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and seven step-grandchildren.
