Keith M. Billson of Kailua died Tuesday at home.

Billson, 43, was born in Honolulu. He is survived by mother Helen G.; brothers Conrad, Laurence and Charles; and sister Robin.

Memorial service: 2 p.m. Monday at 126 S. Kalaheo Ave. on the beach in Kailua.

Phyllis A.J.I. Chong of Waianae died Sunday at home.

Chong, 64, was born in Honolulu. She is survived by husband Joseph K. Hepa; sons Rex, Joseph "Oz," Robert, Jerry and Clarence; daughters Maraia and Phyllis "Moogie"; brothers Charles F.W. "Wah Wah" and Richard F.K.; sisters Mary Yee, Alyce Richardson, Leatrice Kahalekulu, Rose Sandy, Esther Peters, Constance Prange, and Geraldine and Muriel M.Y. Chong; 23 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Mass: 7 p.m. Monday at St. Rita Catholic Church, 89-318 Farrington Highway. Call after 6 p.m. Cremation to follow.

Joseph DeRego of Honolulu, a retired Hickam Air Force Base light vehicle operator, died last Friday in Queen's Hospital.

DeRego, 75, born in Haina, Hawaii, is survived by wife Margaret; sons John Rodrigues and Larry DeRego; brothers David DeRego, and William and Patrick Doherty; sisters Nancy DeRego, Irene Rosa and Carol Carvalho; stepmother Mary; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Francis K. "Mac" Harada of Honolulu, a retired ABC Drug Store manager, died Tuesday in Queen's Hospital.

Harada, 86, was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Elsie T.; son Steven H.; daughter Ann S.; and brother Francis Y.

Memorial service: 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Nuuanu Memorial Park Mortuary. No flowers.

LeRoy L. Hokoana of Wailuku, a Maui Fire Department retiree, died Wednesday at home.

Hokoana, 61, was the recipient of the 1977 Distinguished Service Award from the Hawaii Insurance Association and General Insurance Associations.

He also was a retired U.S. Army sergeant first class who served during the Korean War.

Born in Paia, Maui, he is survived by wife Juanita "Queenie"; daughters Louise Arakawa and Leni English; sons LeRoy Jr. and Lui; brother Ernest; sisters Joy Bissen, Ida Adelstein and Verna Uu; and six grandchildren.

Services: 7 p.m. Monday at Borthwick Mortuary-Norman's, call after 6 p.m.; and 10 a.m. Tuesday at Paia Hawaiian Protestant Church, call after 9 a.m. Burial: Maui Veterans Cemetery.

Edith K.H. Kiehm of Wahiawa died May 16 in Kapiolani Hospital at Pali Momi.

Kiehm, 62, was born in Honolulu. She is survived by husband Jack; daughters Jacqueline W.J. Kiehm and Jocelyn W.J. Hernandez; and three grandchildren.

Lyanne B.P.K. Kotrys of Nanakuli will be remembered in services Wednesday and Thursday.

Kotrys, 38, died Sunday in a crash on Mokiawe Street in Nanakuli. She is survived by husband Thomas K.; sons Thomas Jr. and Travis; daughters Tessie and Tiffany; parents Bernard and Edith

Kaeo; brother Bernard Jr., Leonard and Scott Kaeo; sisters Rochelle Alcantara and Larissa Garcia; and grandmother Victoria Kaeo.

Herbert R. Loomis of Honolulu, a Bishop Trust Co. officer who retired from First Hawaiian Bank, died Thursday.

Loomis, 82, was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Lois; son Charles; daughters Lauri and Rosalyn Meyer; stepdaughter Patricia Donnelly; sister Alice Blaich; and brother John.

Charles Y. Sakumoto of Honolulu, a retired self-employed electrician, died May 15 at home.

Sakumoto, 87, was born in Hilo. He is survived by sons Ronald and Neil; daughter Amy Nojima; seven siblings; and six grandchildren.

Rachael K. "Lahela" Sallas, also known as "Tutu Sallas," of Papakolea died Saturday in Honolulu.

Sallas, 77, was born in Waianae. She is survived by husband Adele F. II; sons Melvin, Adele Jr., Chris and Dennis; daughter Dorina Kim; brothers Sonny Kaleiwohi and Tony Silva; sisters Mercy Rosa and Annie Silva; 15 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Heisei "Bill" Shinsato of Honolulu, a retired commercial fisherman, died Sunday in Kuakini Hospital.

Shinsato, 81, was born in Kekaha, Kauai.

He is survived by wife Helen H.; sons Warren S., Glenn T., Chester K. and Michael T.; daughter Sandra S.; brother Heisho; sister Hideko Arata; and nine grandchildren.

Teruko F. Sugiyama of Kapaau, Hawaii, a retired postmaster, died Sunday in the Life Care Center of Hilo.

Sugiyama, 84, was born in Hawi, Hawaii. She is survived by sons Harold and David; daughters Rae Watanabe, Katherine Toda and Linda Mengel; brother Thomas Nitta; sisters Doris Bitner and Martha Miyake; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Stanley R. Wolski of Waianae died Tuesday in Buffalo, N.Y.

Wolski, 61, was born in Buffalo, N.Y. He is survived by wife Carmen; daughter Terry Sinica; son Robert; stepdaughters Lori Opunui and Debra Brazil; stepson Larry Pagoyo Jr.; sister Barbara Venator; brother Tom; and a granddaughters.

George A. Yap of Haiku, Maui, a laborer for Hawaiian Dredging, died Thursday in Maui Memorial Hospital.

Yap, 64, was born in Haiku, Maui. He is survived by brothers Walter "Sonny" Chow and Raymond A. Yap; and sisters Rose A. Mark, Maude Hee, Mew L.A. Pickford, Ella A. Hoke and Lorraine Y. Brown.
