Weddings

Announcements must be received within three months of the ceremony and will not be accepted before the actual wedding date. Photographs should be at least 3-by-5-inches. They will not be returned.
Naungayan-Wong
Joleen Kawananaaulani Naungayan and Jamin Derrick Namakeha Wong of Kealakekua, Hawaii, were married Nov. 26. The bride's parents are Daveyann Basque of Kealakekua and Elpidio Naungayan of Kailua-Kona. The groom's parents are Jameinson and Josann Wong of Kailua-Kona.
The bride attended Konawaena High School and is employed at Hawaii Helicopters Inc. at Keahole Airport. The groom attended Konawaena High School and is drummer and lead singer in Ho'aikane and a disc jockey at Michael Angelos in Kona.
Amcotts-Dougherty
Julie Anne Wells Amcotts and Thomas Frank Dougherty of Sausalito, Calif., were married Dec. 16 at the Hawaii Yacht Club in Honolulu. The bride's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Peter Amcotts of Honolulu. The groom's mother is Inga Dougherty of Kaneohe.
The bride attended Hawaii School for Girls and the Monterey Institute of International Studies, Monterey, Calif. She is an executive search consultant with Search West Inc. The groom attended Hawaii Loa College. He is an operations manager-port captain at Pacific Marine Yachts, San Francisco.

Edee Doseo and Bruce H. Nakamura of Makakilo were married Oct. 21 at Calvary Independent Church in Wahiawa. The bride's mother is Marcelina Doseo of Captain Cook, Hawaii. The groom's father is Harold Nakamura of Wahiawa.
The bride attended Aiea High School and Leeward Community College. She is a flight attendant with Delta Airlines and a life underwriter for Pacific Guardian Life. The groom graduated from Leilehua High School and Central Washington University. He is an account executive with KCCN Radio.

Hency Yuen and Dr. Warren E. Eng of Horseheads, N.Y., were married Dec. 3 at Mt. Vernon Place United Methodist Church, Washington, D.C. The bride's parents are Quon and Nora Yuen of Honolulu. The groom's parents are Wah Poy and Alice Eng of Oxon Hill, Md.
The bride graduated from McKinley High School and the University of Hawaii-Manoa. She is the assistant features editor for the Star-Gazette in Elmira, N.Y. The groom graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Surgery Dental School. He is a general dental practitioner and operates a private practice.

Lightcap of Cape May, N.J. and Laurence P. Hughes Jr. of Hollywood, Fla. The groom's mother is Mrs. Edwin O. Ukishima of Honolulu.
