Mesa Air Group's go!, which positioned itself as a low-cost carrier in Hawaii's interisland market from its entry, said today it will mark the anniversary of its third year in the state by offering 1,000 $3 fares.

“;We want to celebrate this exciting milestone with the people who have made our success possible,”; said Paul Skellon, vice president of go! “;In these three seemingly short years, we've had the privilege of flying more than 2 million passengers, and this is our way of saying mahalo for your loyalty and support.”;

The promotional fares, which are good for travel from today through June 30, will be available for purchase starting at 5 a.m. today and must be booked online by Thursday at http://www.iflygo.com.

Consumers also may call (888) iflygo2 to book the promotion; however, they will have to pay an additional $5 service fee. The promotional price, which is not available on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays, does not include taxes and fees.

In addition to its fare promotion, the airline also will award three passengers on each Tuesday flight with a certificate for a free round trip.

Mesa launched go! on June 9, 2006, amid lots of fanfare. Its recent $3 one-way fare special is the latest in a series of discounts that has brought go! widespread consumer and industry attention.

The carrier offered $1 one-way fares to mark its first anniversary in June 2007.

Hawaiian Airlines and Mokulele Airlines, which compete with go! could not be contacted to determine whether they would match the fare, because go!'s announcement was embargoed until today.
