Clan-do spirit

POSTED: Friday, March 19, 2010

Now in its fifth year, the annual Honolulu Family Festival continues to bring local residents together with the same ohana spirit present when the event was first held in honor of Honolulu's centennial celebration in 2006.

Presented by the City and County of Honolulu and the Honolulu 100, the four-day festival features a variety of food booths and live entertainment by local acts and special guests from the mainland. This year, Las Vegas-based hypnotist Dr. Scott Lewis is the featured guest; the Royal Hawaiian Band, Kapena, Kona Chang and Kolohe Kai are among the musical groups scheduled to perform.
