Performance to aid pro surfer's daughter

Local musician Jake Shimabukuro and his nonprofit organization, Music is Good Medicine, have stepped up to aid professional surfer Pancho Sullivan and his 6-month-old daughter, Kehua, who was born with a congenital heart defect. After undergoing surgery less than 24 hours after being born, the Sullivan family now faces at least $150,000 of out-of-pocket costs that their insurance won't cover.

Along with Shimabukuro, local musicians Brother Noland, Anjj Lee, Mike Love, John Cruz and Johnny Helm will perform. All of the money collected at the door will be split between the Sullivan family and Ronald McDonald House Charities.
