Tuesday is National Pancake Day, and IHOP restaurants will offer guests a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes to raise awareness and funds for Children's Miracle Network hospitals. On Oahu the fundraiser will benefit the program at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children.

The free flapjacks will be served from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday. For every short stack served, guests will be asked for a donation.

IHOP restaurants on Oahu are located at Ohana Malia Waikiki Hotel, 2211 Kuhio Ave.; 1850 Ala Moana Blvd. (near Discovery Bay condominium); Windward Mall in Kaneohe; and 98-1254 Kaahumanu St. in Pearl City.

IHOP restaurants nationwide served more than 2.5 million free pancakes and donated nearly $1.5 million to children's charities on National Pancake Day 2009.
