A memorial service for the Rev. Doug Olson will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Calvary-by-the Sea Lutheran Church, 5339 Kalanianaole Highway, where he was pastor for 33 years.

Olson, 77, died Dec. 30 at his home.

The ashes will be scattered at sea offshore from the church.

A reception will follow.

No parking will be available at the church. A shuttle service will run from 1:30 to 5 p.m. to and from parking lots at Aina Haina Elementary School, 801 East Hind Drive; Grace Chapel of Honolulu, 5275 Kalanianaole Highway; and Holy Nativity Episcopal Church, 5286 Kalanianaole Highway.
