The city Medical Examiner's Office has deferred the manner of death in the case of the 81-year-old Honolulu man who fell from the Pali Lookout on Monday.

The Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as Simon Cho and determined he died of multiple internal injuries due to a fall from a height. Other significant conditions have also been deferred.

Cho and his wife were at the lower scenic lookout at about 10 a.m. when he walked beyond a metal railing to the edge of the cliff and fell. Fire Capt. Terry Seelig said the body was recovered about 200 to 250 feet below the lookout.
