Show for Kitty

Neiman Marcus is presenting a Hello Kitty trunk show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow and Saturday, which will include some one-of-a-kind pieces signed by Kimora Lee Simmons.

The collection will be shown in Designer Jewelry, Level One, including:

» A watch with a Hello Kitty .85-carat diamond face set on a mother-of-pearl dial with accents of 18-karat rose gold on Kitty's pink sapphire flower and signature bow. Price is $1,875.

» An angelic Kitty with golden wings of 18-karat white and yellow gold, and 1.85 carats in a diamond pave heart. Price is $7,000.

» A necklace of more than 4.17 carats of diamonds with white and yellow gold and black onyx-eyed Kitty with a pink sapphire bow, and a pink tourmaline necklace and yellow sapphire crown. Price is $25,000.


Johnson to visit isle stores

Designer Betsey Johnson is heading to Hawaii to visit with fans at her Maui and Oahu boutiques.

She'll be at the Maui boutique, at The Shops at Wailea, from 5 to 6 p.m. tomorrow, and at the Ala Moana Center store from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday.

Hawaii area manager Marilee Mattson said she knew something was up during New York Fashion Week in September, when Johnson was especially curious about Hawaii weather in December.

During her Oahu appearance, there will be refreshments and the Cherry Blossom Cabaret is planning a special performance for Johnson.



Free makeup sessions at salon

Maleana Cosmetics will be presenting its Holiday Beauty Soiree from 5 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at 3705 Waialae Ave. (at 13th Avenue.)

The company was started in 2005 by Dorys Foltin to cater to the beauty needs of women who need products suited to Hawaii's hot, humid climate.

There will be complimentary makeup sessions featuring Maleana's new limited-edition “;Look in a Box”; set ($49); polish changes by Miyuki's Nail Studio; 50 percent off facial waxing services ($10 brow shaping, $5 lip and $5 chin); and gift certificates for $5 off Lash Perming ($40 regular) with Beautigoddess.

Pearl is show site

Girls Night Out presents “;Santa Baby,”; a night of fashion and holiday shopping at Pearl in Ala Moana's Hookipa Terrace from 6 to 9 p.m. today, with vendors Ginger13, Fashionista's Market, Jessica's Traveling Boutique, AllisonIzu and Desire Salon and Spa.

There will be an FM fashion show and gift giveaways during the no-cover event.

Discount buys

Ginger13's Cindy Yokoyama also turns up at the newly opened Roberta Oaks Showroom, teaming up with the designer for a holiday sale from 4 to 8 p.m. tomorrow and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The showroom is at 19 N. Pauahi St.

Oaks will be presenting a buy-one, get-one half off on all new stock, 75 percent off last season's designs, $45 for swim sets, and a two for $100 rack.

Ginger13 will offer discounts on new styles and sale items starting at $5.


Designs for sale

ETown will host a Chinatown Holiday Event to help shoppers finalize their gift lists, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. tomorrow. Featured will be creations by HiFi designers 1979, Soozou, Meesah and HI State of Mind, plus Maliko Designs and Alfie Jewels.
