Warriors headline Quarterback Club

Hawaii offensive line coach Gordy Shaw and the four Warriors named to the All-Western Athletic Conference team are scheduled to appear at tomorrow's meeting of the Honolulu Quarterback Club at the Pagoda Hotel.

Center John Estes, slotback Greg Salas and linebacker Blaze Soares were All-WAC first-team selections. Offensive tackle Aaron Kia made the second team.

The luncheon starts at 11:30 a.m., with the program to begin at noon. The public is invited.

BYUH women win in Alaska

Mahina Gago scored 14 points and Lindsey Sundin added 11 to lead the BYU-Hawaii women's basketball team to a 61-48 win at Alaska Fairbanks yesterday. The Seasiders improved to 4-3.
