» The National Park Service has been authorized to conduct a special resources study toward making the former Honouliuli internment camp a historic site. A story on Page 30 Monday said the legislation to approve the study was via the state, not through federal means. The online edition has been corrected.

» Teresa Vast is an early-childhood policy consultant from Kailua. An article on Page 8 Saturday misspelled her first name and said she was from the Big Island. The online edition has been corrected.

» The wreckage from the West Loch explosion of 1944 was cleared away in preparation for the invasion of Guam, Saipan and Tinian. A story on Page 5 Monday referred to the Normandy invasion. The online edition has been corrected.
