Hawaii Pacific tops WNMU

Hawaii Pacific stormed back from a 12-point first-half deficit to defeat Western New Mexico 97-77 in a men's basketball game at the Mid-Pacific Institute gym last night.

Mike Helton scored a game-high 19 points and Norman Wells added 12 points and 13 rebounds for the Sea Warriors (2-2).

Stefan Mirabal and Justin Williams each scored 17 points for the Mustangs (1-2).
