Thirty high school football seniors from across the state were picked to play for the Hawaii team in the Hawaii/Polynesia-Mainland Bowl, presented by the Hawaii Army National Guard.

The team (see Scoreboard on page 62 for a roster) is also made up of 10 players from the mainland with Hawaii ties. They will play against a team of players from the mainland at 7 p.m. on Dec. 12 at Aloha Stadium.

That game will be part of an Aloha Prep Bowl doubleheader. The other game, starting at 4 p.m., is the 19th annual Hawaii Goodwill Senior Bowl, which will feature 100 seniors from Oahu in an East vs. West challenge.
