Sample a bit of Renaissance fantasy

The Honolulu Waldorf School's annual “;Waldorfaire”; returns to the school's Niu Valley campus this weekend for a full day of Renaissance-themed fun.

Families are encouraged to live out their fantasies in the “;Kingdom of Kindervale,”; with activities including rock-climbing, bungee-jumping, pony rides, face-painting, a dunking booth and other activities.

An opening ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m. tomorrow.

Pets and their people invited to mingle

PacificNetwork.tv and Mary Long present the first annual Hawaii Pet Film Festival and Holiday Gift Show, billed as “;the ultimate pet-lovers event”; in Honolulu.

Pets and their owners are invited to turn their animals into stars, through a pet video contest with a $500 cash prize. A pet costume contest and fashion show are also planned. Owners may also visit a variety of vendor booths to learn about new products and services available for their pets.
