Man stabbed in back at Pua Lane

A 19-year-old downtown Honolulu man was assaulted by five to six males near Pua Lane in Kapalama yesterday.

One of the males allegedly stabbed the man in the back.

The suspects fled before police arrived.

The stabbing occurred at 7:50 p.m.

Second stabbing suspect is sought

Police are looking for another suspect in the stabbing of a 43-year-old homeless man in Kapiolani Park on Monday at about 4:40 p.m.

The man faces arrest on suspicion of second-degree attempted murder.

At 5 p.m. Monday, police had arrested a 39-year-old homeless man on suspicion of attempted murder. That man remains in custody on drug offenses, police said.

Police issued a CrimeStoppers bulletin yesterday for a man in his 30s described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 170 to 180 pounds, with short brown hair, tan complexion, clean shaven, wearing a white with tan print button-down aloha shirt and brown shorts.

Man allegedly prostitutes girl

Police are looking for an alleged pimp who kidnapped and sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl in Waikiki.

Police said the man coerced the girl into prostitution, held her against her will and sexually assaulted her at an unknown hotel room.

Police said the incident occurred at 2 a.m. Monday.
