An Oahu grand jury indicted Nicholas Devin Anduha yesterday on charges of abducting two 15-year-old girls in Mililani in separate incidents last week and raping one of them.

The indictment charges Anduha, 20, of Mililani, with two counts of kidnapping, seven counts of first-degree sexual assault, one count of third-degree sexual assault and two counts of first-degree terroristic threatening.

He remains in custody, unable to post $50,000 bail.

Anduha abducted the first girl at knifepoint in the early morning on Sept. 16 after chasing away the girl's boyfriend, said Vickie Kapp, deputy prosecutor.

Police said Anduha wanted the girl to cruise with him in his van. The girl did not get in the van but instead walked around with him. He released her after the boyfriend confronted him, Kapp said.

Police said Anduha abducted the second girl 3 1/2 hours after the first abduction by forcing her into his van. He took the girl near a park in Wahiawa, where he fondled her and then to Waimea Beach Park, where he raped her, police said.

Kapp said Anduha sexually assaulted the girl in the van for more than three hours.

Police said he then drove back to Mililani, where he released the girl.
