Vulcans remain undefeated

Josimara Pinheiro had 12 kills and Fabiane Seben added 10 as Hawaii-Hilo swept Chaminade 25-18, 26-24, 25-11 last night in the PacWest opener for both teams in Hilo.

Katie Swenson dished out 41 assists as the Vulcans hit .319 to improve to 11-0 for the year. Whitney Vivieros had nine kills to lead the Silverswords (2-8, 0-1).
