Have one last summer bash at water park

Wet 'n' Wild Hawaii partners with Power 104.3 FM, KHON and the CW Network to host the 11th Annual End of Summer Luau, with a fashion show and a performance by dancers and musicians of the Polynesian Cultural Center.

The day will kick off with the 24/7 Danceforce and the University of Hawaii's Rainbow Warrior Dancers. The 21-and-over crowd can take in a “;Metromix-ology”; cocktail contest. DJ Krazy K will be spinning sounds, and there will be a performance by hip-hop artist Chris Jay. KHON/CW Network will have prize giveaways in anticipation of the relaunch of “;Melrose Place.”;

Swap meet celebrates statehood, Labor Day

It's the re-branding of the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet & Marketplace, as it hosts a “;Lucky We Live Hawaii”; statehood and Labor Day celebration.

Events include a “;Made in Hawaii”; Craft Fair, a Farmer's Market and a Keiki Zone with rides and activities from Xtreme Fun. Cool down in the beer garden starting at 11 a.m. featuring entertainment from Mailani Makainai, the DeLima Ohana, Herb Ohta Jr., Brad Kawakami, Jennifer Perri and more. 808 Entertainment will be hosting an amateur skateboarding contest. Entrants can register at http://www.local808.net. There's also a Classic Car Show with a Shine & Swap featuring more than 50 classic cars from around the island. Swap any parts you no longer need with other car part collectors.
