Collages inspired by childhood in Japan showing at JCC gallery

Sumako Cohn's nostalgic collages inspired by childhood memories of growing up in Japan are exhibited in “;Scenes in My Memory,”; showing through Oct. 3 at the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii community gallery.

On Saturday, Cohn will run two workshops on cut-out card making, at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Cost is $10 and class size is limited; call 945-7633, ext. 39, or e-mail .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

Gallery hours for the exhibit are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays to Saturdays. Admission is $7, $5 for children; $5 and $3 for Hawaii residents; and $3, military.
