After bowing out of “;HOME”; at the Lotus at Diamond Head last weekend, local promoters Flash Hansen and Matty Hazelgrove have decided to resurrect one of the most popular weekly parties ever held in Waikiki.

Back in the day, the “;Pussycat Lounge”; was a Tuesday night necessity for Honolulu's club crowd, with an eclectic mix of people showing up until 4 a.m. at the now-closed Wave Waikiki. Hansen and Hazelgrove move it to their new venue starting this weekend with a guest appearance by Ed Hardy designer Adam Saaks. DJ Eskae will spin until 2 a.m.

Happy hour today at 5 p.m.; no cover.

You still have a chance to party with the Peas, even if you missed out on their sold-out concert at Bayfest.

The fun starts tonight at the Lotus at Diamond Head, where Pro Players Group Inc. and Jeepney Music team up for the official concert pre-party, with Apl.de.ap performing tracks off his upcoming solo album, as well as special guest DJ Mia being on hand.

After tomorrow's concert the party will continue at LEVEL4 Nightclub, where the official after-party will be hosted by Will.I.Am and apl.de.ap, with a guest set by DJ Lucky Lou and Hawaii's own DJ XL representing as well.

Russell Tanoue introduces his latest party concept this weekend when “;Sapphire”; brings the bling to Restaurant Row tomorrow.

According to Tanoue, the party is a means for the photographer and part-time party promoter to “;bring new faces together”; and keep his events “;fresh and one-of-a-kind.”; The party will feature “;sexy”; glitter and crystal body art, plus “;hair bling”; for those with long hair.

Doors open at 9 p.m. for those 21 and over. Cover is $10 at the door, with a portion of the proceeds donated to the Hawaii Foodbank.

2008 Universal Showqueen Cocoa Chandelier is now setting her sights on the title of Miss Entertainer of the Year.

To offset the expenses of sending a cast of 15 people to the mainland in July, Chandelier will host a series of fundraisers over the next year. She'll start Sunday at the Loft in Chinatown with a drag show featuring some of Hawaii's top female impersonators.
