Answer: The Hawaiian Humane Society's dog park was closed temporarily due to issues with its ground covering. The park is now open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends.

There are six off-leash parks on island including one in Moanalua, Hawaii Kai and Diamond Head. Other off-leash dog parks include Moanalua. And more than 40 public parks where dogs are allowed on leash. All locations are posted at www.hawaiianhumane.org
