Isle police looking for man wanted in L.A. for '05 murder

Honolulu police are looking for a 23-year-old man who is wanted in connection with a 2005 homicide in Los Angeles.

Rodrigo Sigala is wanted by Los Angeles police on a $2.05 million extradition warrant for a fatal gang-related shooting that occurred in Newtown on June 26, 2005. According to myFoxla.com, a Web site for KTTV Fox 11 News in Los Angeles, the murder involving victim Irving Rocha occurred near Griffith Avenue and 22nd Street.

Police said Sigala was using the assumed name of Jesse Gomez in February 2008. He was last known to be working in the Halawa Valley industrial area.

Sigala, an active gang member who also goes by the nicknames Creeps or Creepers, may be in possession of firearms and is considered dangerous.

Police described him as 5-foot-4, 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He has the letters “;LP”; in large lettering tattooed on the top of his head. The numbers “;213-559”; are tattooed on the left side of his head.
