Martinez defeats Irons at Teahupoo

Bobby Martinez defeated Hawaii's Andy Irons in the third round of the Billabong Pro Tahiti surf contest yesterday in 3-5 foot surf at Teahupoo.

Martinez went on to win the Association of Surfing Professionals World Tour event yesterday by beating Taj Burrow in the final.
