Question: Will the Humane Society celebrate national Be Kind to Animals Week?

Answer: Humane Society will be featured at the Pet Expo this weekend at Blaisdell Center. Each year the expo brings together the pet community for a showcase of new products, pet-care providers and pet education.

The Humane Society will offer an exhibit of student art submitted in an annual art contest.

Be Kind to Animals Week brings communities together to focus on children's education and animal welfare as a means to create a new generation of leaders and activists. Instituted in 1915, it was the first nationwide education and outreach effort by a national humane movement.
