» Gov. Linda Lingle is asking public workers to accept furloughs of up to 37.5 days during the next two fiscal years, starting July 1. A article on page 5 yesterday said the furloughs would be during one year. The online edition has been corrected.

» Patrick Viela, the son of a Vietnam War hero, is 43. An article on page 6 yesterday said he was 40. The online edition has been corrected.

» A celebration of life for retired federal court chief clerk Walter A.Y.H. Chinn will be held at 3 p.m. tomorrow in the 'Aha Nonoi courtroom at the U.S. District Court building. A story on page 28 yesterday said the service would be today. The online edition has been corrected.

» Benihana restaurants in Hawaii will not participate in a fundraiser for St. Jude's Research Hospital on May 5 as reported in a brief item on page 32 yesterday. Hawaii is not included in the national fundraising program.

» The name of 'Iolani baseball player Breland Almadova was mispelled as Almodova on page 63 yesterday. The online edition has been corrected.

» The PBS program “;At Home in Utopia”; aired Tuesday on KHET. An article on Page 37 Tuesday gave the wrong date.
