See ink and show ink on Saturday, when “;Ink Exposed”; showcases a variety of tattoo artists and their work at Bar 35 in Chinatown.

Doors open at 9 p.m. Saturday, with live entertainment by Black Square and a live body modification/body art fashion show by Eternal Tattoo. Cocktails made with Jack Daniel's and Sailor Jerry Rum will be on special all night long.

The Mercury Bar's monthly “;Strange Fruit”; party returns this weekend with a performance by a “;collision of members”; from two local bands.

Mr. Fasade brings together musicians from two popular local groups, The Deadbeats and Lost At Sea. Saturday's set will blend the “;funky fresh”; hip-hop, funk, jazz, reggae and rock stylings that have made the bands popular among their respective fans. Doors open at 9 p.m. and a $5 cover charge will be in effect.

The Honolulu Design Center continues with “;Gotta Dance,”; a monthly, dance-inspired film series that runs every second Tuesday through July.

This month's featured film is “;Belly Dancers of Cairo,”; directed by Natasha Senkovich. Local belly dancer Willow Chang will perform before the film is screened; tickets are $10 at the door starting at 6 p.m.
