American Savings promotes Yeh

American Savings Bank promoted Terence Yeh to executive vice president, chief credit officer. He joined the bank in 1998 as vice president, corporate banking officer.

Pipeline Micro named Seri Lee as chief technology officer. His experience includes senior thermal scientist in the silicon and platform solutions group of Intel Corp. and chief technology officer for Nextreme Thermal Solutions.

The Hawaii Architectural Foundation announced three new officers on the board of directors for 2009: Joseph J. Ferraro, president; Peter N. Vincent, vice president; and David Kaahaaina Jr., secretary/treasurer.

The Hawaii Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America announced its board of directors for 2009: Kristen Bonilla, president; Nathan Kam, president-elect; Gale Mejia-Abregana, secretary; and Michael Ni, treasurer.

University of Hawaii law students Ann Otteman and Jesse Smith placed second in the Best Advocates category of the 17th annual National Native American Law Students Association's Moot Court Competition. A UH team also placed second last year.
