2 new employees at NorthStar

NorthStar Alliance has announced the following new hires: Leni Davis, formerly marketing manager for Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific, as marketing manager; Bob Pila as staff appraiser for the company as well as an instructor at NorthStar University; and Kamaka Mahi Gunderson, formerly a grant writer and manager for the National Science Foundation, as program administrator for NorthStar University.

Friends of Hawaii State Art Museum has elected Lawrence Tseu to its board of directors. He is a practicing dentist and also serves as president of Jackie Chan Charitable Foundation USA and a member of the board of regents of the University of Oxford and Chaminade University.

Parker Ranch has announced the following new appointments to its board of directors: James S. Greenwell, president of Palani Ranch Co. and Lanihau Properties LLC since 1992 and former manager of leasing and property management with Alexander & Baldwin's Properties Group; and William “;Bill”; Maris, interim chief operating officer and previously chief financial officer for Parker Ranch, as well as chief financial officer for Cyanotech Corp.

Hawaii's Plantation Villages has announced its board of directors officers for 2009: Faith Evans, president; Deanna Espinas, first vice president; Loretta Pang, second vice president; Richard Oshiro, third vice president; Robert Castro, secretary; Glenn Ifuku, treasurer; and Richard Hirata, former president. Directors are Jason Chang, Shirley Colon, Tricia Evans, Pam Funai, Toni Lee, Domingo Los Banos, Melvin Makii, Dave Mueller, Steven Pang, Amy Sakuma, Shari Tamashiro, Jeffrey Ventura, Yoshiko Yamauchi and Stephen Yuen.
