Kobayashi and Okubo named Hawaii's delegates to the United States Senate Youth Program

Breeani Kobayashi of Hawaii Preparatory Academy, and Daniel Okubo of Waiakea High School were appointed Hawaii's delegates to the 47th Annual United States Senate Youth Program in Washington, D.C. They received $5,000 college scholarships.

In addition to several student leadership and volunteer activities, Kobayashi is student body vice president at HPA, and Okubo is Waiakea's student body treasurer. Alternates included Lauren Miyata of Hilo High School and Francis Sakai-Kawada of Waiakea.

Barron's magazine recognized Smith Barney financial advisor Al Narimatsu as one of the “;Top 1,000 Advisors”; in its Feb. 9 issue. The magazine recognizes financial advisors based on their practices of business, success and quality service to their clients. Narimatsu has been a member of Smith Barney for 25 years.

Corporate Office Centers made Isabel Figel assistant general manager at its Honolulu branch. She will assist Steve Scott, general manager, in sales, marketing and operations.
