'Mamma Mia!' show benefits cancer center

The opening-night performance for the musical production “;Mamma Mia!”;—set to play the Blaisdell Concert Hall in May—will be a benefit for the Women's Cancer Center at Kapiolani Medical Center.

Tickets are on sale for the May 12 gala at $100, which includes VIP seating and an invitation to a cast party at Romano's Macaroni Grill after the show.

The national touring production of the hit musical based on the songs of ABBA runs through May 24, with shows at 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays to Thursdays, 8 p.m. Fridays, 2 and 8 p.m. Saturdays and 2 and 7 p.m. Sundays.
