New on the greens at Kapalua Resort

Kapalua Resort recently announced new golf programs and amenities available this spring for those who like to play on Maui.

The “;Junior Tees on the Bay Course”; program allows children under the age of 12 to play for free when accompanied by a paying adult. Junior rental clubs are available for $10 and include a sleeve of Kapalua Resort golf balls.

Additionally, the “;Village Walking Course”; program features a three-hole walking course with three sets of tees at varying yardages, perfect for the novice golfer. The cost is $25 for the public and $20 for resort guests.

In conjunction with the national PGA program, Kapalua Resort also hosts the “;Get Golf Ready Program,”; which offers individuals new to the game a series of five lessons for $149 and playing opportunities on the golf course. The second program is a beginning family golf lesson for up to four people for $120.

For more information on these programs, contact the Kapalua Golf Academy at 665-5455.

Kapalua Resort guests can also look forward to new, top-of-the-line rental clubs at both the Bay Course and the Plantation Course. Both courses offer Titleist and Cobra clubs that include Vokey wedges and Cameron putters, as well as Titleist's latest drivers and irons rental sets for men, women and seniors. Registered guests of the Kapalua Villas will receive complimentary rental sets for individual tee times.
