» Because of a transcription error, the guest commentary “;Civil behavior”; published in Sunday's Insight section gave incorrect figures for the number of people who regularly engage in and prefer homosexual relationships. The correct numbers are 5 to 6 percent of males, and 2 to 3 percent of females. The online edition has been corrected.

» The Hawaii Teacher Standards Board is attached to the state Department of Education for administration purposes. A story yesterday on Hawaii Page 5 incorrectly said the board was administered under the state Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs. The online edition has been corrected.
