WAILUKU » Maui County police arrested three men Wednesday and seized drugs worth more than $880,000 in street value during an investigation into a drug-trafficking organization.

Police seized nearly three pounds of cocaine and more than eight pounds of crystal methamphetamine, along with more than $73,000 in cash.

Three men have been arrested, and more arrests are expected to follow, police Lt. Wallace Tom said yesterday.

Police withheld the names of the arrested men, pending investigation.

Police executed warrants in January and February to search residences, businesses, cars and individuals.

Investigators also seized more than five ounces of marijuana, two rifles and a pistol.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is working with Maui police in the probe, Tom said.
