Bishop Museum has Big Isle trip

Bishop Museum is offering a three-day “Big Island Excursion,” Feb. 27 to March 1, including participation in the fifth annual Grow Hawaiian Festival at Amy B.H. Greenwell Ethnobotanical Garden.

Participants will stay at the Outrigger Keauhou Beach Resort, and highlights of the weekend include a guided field trip to the restricted Keauhou mauka field lands and Forest Reserve and tours of the Amy Greenwell Garden.

Cost is $950 per person, double occupancy, and $1,050 per person, single occupancy ($500 tax-deductible to benefit Bishop Museum). Price includes accommodations and most meals, transportation to and from the Amy Greenwell Garden Saturday, and transportation to tour sites Sunday.
