Last year I learned to take care of your priorities before doing other things. I'd best make a plan for myself because I won't be a kid forever. This year I want to make sure I know what college I want to go to and what I need to do to get accepted there. I also want to make sure I enjoy this year to the fullest because I'm never going to be in high school again. This is my first and last chance!

Last year I learned that when it comes to projects and research papers, you shouldn't procrastinate because it's not worth trying to finish it all in one night. My goal for this year is to do the best that I can to prepare myself for my senior year. I want to enjoy it the most I can because high school is a one-time thing.

My goal for this year is to start focusing on my future, college-wise. With my senior year coming up, I need to start having a solid plan of what it is I want. SATs, grades, extracurricular—I'm going to do all I can the rest of this year and all of next year. Last year during my sophomore year, the most important thing I learned was that high school is almost over. I learned that I should have been serious a long time ago, but I know now what needs to be done. It's time to book it!

My goal for this year is to keep my job at PacSun and not get fired. I never noticed how many people apply there, and it's funny how anyone can get easily replaced if they mess up, but that also makes me appreciate it more. Last year I learned that nothing lasts forever. I experienced death of loved ones, breakups and loss of certain friends, and that just validated it for me. Last year I found my own ways to rise from the ashes of all that happened, learn from it and not take what's left for granted.
