Local promoters BAMP Project continue to stay ahead of the curve in 2009, hosting artists that have seen some success without yet becoming household names.

Compton-based rapper Tyga (pictured) is the next to get a push from BAMP with a headlining set at Pipeline on Saturday. The cousin of Gym Class Heroes frontman Travis McCoy, Tyga has gotten airtime on MTV with his debut single, “;Coconut Juice,”; released last year. Doors open at 10 p.m.
