Star-Bulletin upgrades design

By

POSTED: Monday, December 15, 2008

Beginning today, the Star-Bulletin has been reorganized. The first section will include national and world news as well as stories from most summaries on Page 1. Page 2 will “;Spotlight”; events and people in the news, Q&As on events, and health and science reports. The Opinion and Commentary pages will be toward the back of the section.

A new section, Hawaii, debuts, carrying local news. Obituaries also will run in this section. The Business section becomes part of the Hawaii section. There will be one page of stock and mutual fund prices, instead of two. Quotes for Hawaii stocks and mutual funds and all other stocks are available at starbulletin.com/business.

There are only minor changes in the Sports and Today sections. Classified/Legals becomes a separate section except for Saturdays, when it will be part of a regular section.
