Here's what you need for those smokin' fall looks

Here is a list of the products used in creating the looks on our cover. The line drawings show placement of the color.

Note that the guide shows the fall smoky eye, using a variation (Row 3) of the Too Faced Smokey Eye Collection worn by Melissa Naeole (Row 2) on our cover.

To make color last, start with a primer under your foundation. As for eye and lip color that stays true to what you see in the pot or palette, also start with a primer.

I admit to being disappointed by disappearing colors, or those that blend into a muddled mess, but one savior is Make Up for Ever's Eye Seal ($20). Put it on and pat your eye shadow over it, building up layers as you wish for muted or intense effects. To get the look on Chizuko Kobayashi, Sephora Color Expert Bertha Lui used five layers of yellow and orange. The Eye Seal can also be used with a liner brush to turn eye shadow into an eye liner.
