Windward Community College showcases the talent of its art students—and the art instructors who educate them—in “;Confluence,”; on exhibit through Oct. 8 at Gallery Iolani.

Faculty at the college includes some top names on the art scene locally, including Snowden Hodges, Mark Hamasaki and Paul Nash. Toni Martin, who runs Gallery Iolani, is a WCC teacher whose influence and dedication has touched countless students throughout the years. Other instructors whose students are featured include Norman Graffam and Bryce Nimitz Meyer.

The many works make for a diverse exhibit, and gallery walls are chock full of ceramics, drawings, paintings, photography and pieces that reflect design and color theory.

Gallery Iolani is located on the college campus. Gallery hours are 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesdays to Fridays and Sundays. Call 236-9155.
