Here's to the good rhymes
Hope on occasion I've made you grin
With the ravings of this curmudgeon.
Whether you like my take or think I stink
Perhaps I've caused you to stop and think.
I'm fading away but who knows when
Perhaps we'll run into each other again.
I've been writing poetic satire
But I'm not quite ready to retire
Until that day we meet anew
I bid you all a fond adieu.
